Join the authors of the newly-released "Rust Belt Burlesque" to hear about the resurgence of this bawdy performance art in Northeast Ohio.
Erin O’Brien, co-author of Rust Belt Burlesque, will share tidbits from Northeast Ohio's burlesque scene past and present. She'll also reveal how the indomitable Bella Sin, a Mexican immigrant, spearheaded the local comeback of this bawdy performance art. The lively presentation will include vintage photos, co-author Bob Perkoski's dazzling images of modern burlies, and a Q&A with the authors. This presentation is rated PG for bawdiness.
