Kim Rankin and Tamara Wawrosch met while volunteering and organizing several large fundraisers in Bexley. They soon discovered a mutual love of many things, including art, knitting, Broadway, and biking. The next step in their creative partnership was the development of Pixelwinx where they could help others with their family photo treasures and photo consulting services. Kim graduated from CCAD with a degree in Advertising Design. She has spent many years freelancing full-time in the design field for a variety of clients, agencies, and corporations in Columbus, Florida, and Arizona. Tamara graduated from Capital University with degrees in Business and German. She developed her keen sense of customer service and "team attitude" while working at IBM with high profile clients. Pixelwinx celebrated its SIXTH birthday this year with its clients' growing photo collections, custom photo albums, slideshows, scanning services, and ever growing iPhone photos! Both Kim and Tamara soon realized clients need help with their iPhones, and they enjoy teaching others how to use them and tell their stories through photos.
Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
