Join Dr. David Robertson, Professor of Physics at Otterbein University, in a lively discussion covering the Big Bang to present day. You will also learn about exciting new scientific discoveries such as gravitational wave astronomy that was predicted by Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, and much more.
Dr. David Robertson is Professor of Physics and Director of Undergraduate Research and Creative Work at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and held several postdoctoral positions before coming to Otterbein in 2002. His research interests center on elementary particle physics. In 2017, Dr. Robertson was named Otterbein’s Master Teacher of the Year.
Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
