What can we expect from the COVID-19 vaccine? Get answers with OSU's Abigail Norris Turner, infectious diseases epidemiologist, and Dr. Susan Koletar, director of the Division of Infectious Diseases.
How do vaccines work? How do we know they are safe? What can we expect from the COVID-19 vaccine? Get answers and clarity with two experts from our community: Dr. Abigail Norris Turner, infectious disease epidemiologist in the Department of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University, and Dr. Susan Koletar, director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.
Since the spring, Dr. Norris Turner has focused on understanding the epidemiology of COVID-19 in Ohio and she will speak about how vaccine trials work, safety endpoints, distribution challenges, and survey data about vaccine hesitancy. Dr. Koletar is the principal investigator of the Wexner Medical Center’s COVID-19 vaccine trial and will cover the various vaccines and immunology more broadly. Join us live on Zoom to engage with Dr. Norris Turner and Dr. Koletar, learn, and have your questions answered. We will record the program and it will be available for viewing on the library’s YouTube page.

The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
