Explore the science, theories, and wonders of our universe with OSU Astronomy Dept. faculty and staff. Presentation will be followed by outdoor stargazing with telescopes, pending weather conditions.
Explore the science, theories, and wonders of our universe with faculty and staff from The Ohio State University Astronomy Department. The presentation will be followed by stargazing with telescopes outside of the library, depending on the weather. Registration is requested.
July's presentation: Dr. Chun-Hao To, Astrophysicist and CCAPP Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University, will present on Learning the Dark Universe with Galaxies and Galaxy Clusters. There will be hands-on activities and outdoor stargazing with telescopes following the presentations, weather dependent.
Dr. Chun-Hao To is an Astrophysicist and CCAPP Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University. His main research interests are studying how structure grows in the universe, how structure growth affects galaxy's evolution, how to use galaxy as a probe of the nature of dark energy, and how to combine multiple probes of dark energy to yield best constraints. While he is not doing research he enjoys playing badminton and biking.
