In this interactive presentation, we’ll explore what low back pain really is, what it isn’t, and how you can take practical steps to prevent it, manage it, and recover confidently. Dr. Kenton Keeslar and Dr. Kevin Nowacki, physical therapists and co-owners of Elevate Human Performance, will cut through the myths, explain what the latest science tells us, and give you clear, actionable strategies to improve your back health—whether you're dealing with discomfort now or simply want to stay strong and mobile as you age.
Expect real talk, no gimmicks, and tools you can actually use. Whether you’re a weekend warrior, desk job warrior, or somewhere in between, this session is for you. Come away with a better understanding of your body, what pain means, and how movement, mindset, and simple lifestyle shifts can make all the difference.
About the Presenters:
Dr. Kenton Keeslar is a physical therapist and co-owner of Elevate Human Performance. Kenton spent most of his life playing soccer and basketball, where he discovered his passion for the human body, injury rehabilitation, and sports performance. He played collegiate soccer and studied Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ohio University. Through his experiences as both a college athlete and a Strength & Conditioning coach at the University of Michigan, Kenton offers a unique perspective that helps him connect with every athlete he trains. He empowers athletes to return stronger and more prepared than before.
Dr. Kevin Nowacki is a physical therapist and co-owner of Elevate Human Performance. Kevin is a physical therapist, sports performance coach, and mechanical engineer. His hybrid background, combined with a strong passion for helping others, gives Kevin a unique approach to guiding athletes toward the healthiest version of themselves. He forms meaningful relationships with his clients, educates them on important health-related topics, and helps foster a supportive, health-focused community. Kevin equips the athletes he works with with the confidence and ability needed to take ownership of their health—both during their time with him and long after they leave his care.
Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
