Summer Teen Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteens at BPL!

Do you love working with kids? Sharing your love of reading or need service hours? Then, you should become a summer teen volunteer! From May 30-August 1, sign families up for Summer Community Read, hand out prizes, and assist with our summer programs. Teens must be at least 12 years old or entering grades 7-12 in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year to volunteer. 

Application deadline is June 3. Applications will be considered in the order they are received. If accepted, volunteers must attend ONE of the following mandatory orientation dates listed below before they can start volunteering. 

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION DATES

  • Thursday, May 23 from 4:30-6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, May 29 from 6:30-8:00 PM
  • Friday, June 7 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM
  • Monday, July 8 from 1:00-2:30 PM
