Patrons can request to use a Meeting Owl. The Meeting Owl is a 360-degree camera, mic, and speaker for use to conduct virtual meetings. To use this device patrons will have to download and install a free app on a Smart Phone (Apple or Android).
No fees may be charged and all meetings must be open to the public.
Confirmation from the library must be received by the requesting organization before a request can be considered scheduled.
Groups can schedule use of the TCC up to 90 days in advance with a minimum of 24-hours notice.
The individual or group reserving a meeting room will be responsible for the order and conduct of the group and for any loss or damage to library property.
Events in the TCC are limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
Set-up in the TCC is the responsibility of the group using the space. Users are responsible for cleaning up and returning the room to its pre-use condition before leaving.
If the Group Study Room is reserved, but the TCC is available, the TCC may be reserved on a walk-in, case-by-case basis for study groups following the same policy as the GSR.
If you would like to see the TCC before your meeting date, you must make an appointment by calling (614) 231-9709. Drop-in requests may not be accommodated
Groups must vacate the room 15 minutes before the library closes and are responsible for clean-up and returning the room to its original setup. Not doing so, damaging library property, or other destructive or inappropriate behavior will result in loss of the meeting rooms and/or library privileges, as determined by the supervisor.
The BPL Patron Code of Conduct applies and must be observed while using the rooms.
