Bexley Public Library is partnering with the Capital University Social Work Program to host social work interns as part of a required field placement.

At any given time, the library will host one or more social work interns who are here to learn and support our community by helping patrons explore community resources, navigate social service programs, and figure out next steps when things feel overwhelming.

A social work intern may be able to help if you:

  • Aren't sure where to start when looking for community resources
  • Need help navigating applications or social service systems
  • Want support identifying goals and next steps
  • Are feeling overwhelmed and could use help sorting through options

Please note:

  • Social work interns are not licensed social workers
  • They cannot provide therapy, legal advice, or diagnoses
  • They cannot guarantee services from outside agencies
