Join Jenny Lobb, Registered Dietitian and OSU Extension Educator, to learn how you can build a “better” (healthier) recipe ahead of summer gatherings and celebrations. You will learn about the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and how to make simple shifts to better meet the recommendations in your year-round cooking, eating, and celebrating. A cooking demonstration and tasting will be included in this class.
These sessions are open to seniors and will take place in-person at the Bexley Senior Center located at 420 N. Cassady Ave., Bexley, OH 43209; phone number: (614) 559-4355. Registration is required, but attendance to the entire series is not mandatory.
Speaker Bio:
Jenny Lobb is a Family and Consumer Sciences Educator for OSU Extension in Franklin County. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition and a Master's in Public Health, both from The Ohio State University. Jenny is also Registered and Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of Ohio. As an Extension educator, she specializes in food, nutrition and wellness, and enjoys helping people learn to prepare healthy, tasty and easy to make meals on a budget.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
