COSI Science Festival: Think Global, Act Local! with BrainBloom Academy and Girl Scout Troop 6413
Join us for our 7th annual Cosi Science Festival event for ages preK-2nd grade. Young Scientists will have the opportunity to learn about the diverse wildlife of Bexley, especially in our local ponds and Alum Creek and the importance of keeping habitats like Bexley clean. Hands-on activities at various stations will address the impact of litter and pollution on our local community, and ways children can help by reducing waste and knowing what is recyclable and compostable. BrainBloom Academy will facilitate our learning stations with the assistance of Girl Scout Troop 6413. This program is hosted in collaboration with COSI, Bexley Parks and Recreation, and the City of Bexley for the citywide COSI Science Festival. Two 45-minute sessions will be offered: 4:00-4:45 p.m. or 4:45-5:30 p.m.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
