rebecca richardson, cartoonist & Zine Club Columbus founder, leads this workshop of discovery to explore what you stand for and turn it into a pocket-sized zine of who you are and what you're about!
What do you stand for? What do you want to scream into the world—or whisper to yourself? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the art of the personal manifesto: a bold, messy, honest declaration of your beliefs, desires, and intentions. We’ll start with a short presentation on the history of zine manifestos, then dive into guided prompts to help you uncover what matters most to you. By the end, you’ll turn your words into a one-sheet, foldable zine—a pocket-sized reminder of who you are and what you’re about.
No experience necessary—just bring your whole self and a willingness to experiment. All materials provided.
Space is limited and registration is required.
