Would you like to participate in a cooking challenge? Adults and teens (13 and up) can team up for a summer cooking competition featuring stir fry dishes. Register with a friend or family member to compete together or be assigned a team at the contest. Judges will score on taste, texture, knife skills, and creativity. Supplies and ingredients will be provided by the Library. No experience needed, just a love for cooking. The winning team will receive a prize.
Contest Coordinator's Bio:
Brandi Muhammad, the visionary founder, CEO, and Creative Designer of Just Naturally Yummy Bakery, established her thriving family business in 2016. With a rich background in food service and hospitality management, coupled with her love for baking, Brandi has driven the bakery to award-winning success, including receiving the Taste of Bexley "Best Desserts" accolade three times. In addition to her innovative baking techniques, she brings people together by regularly hosting bread baking parties. When not in the kitchen, Brandi enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes to elevate her craft.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
