Dino Buddies blends prehistoric adventure with modern wildlife education for an unforgettable, hands-on experience. The program begins with an immersive dinosaur presentation featuring lifelike dinosaur puppets that move, vocalize, and interact with the audience. Through storytelling and science, guests are introduced to prehistoric eras, dinosaur behavior, extinction, and evolution.
Next, participants “travel forward in time” to meet live reptile ambassadors, including snakes and lizards. This portion of the program explores how modern reptiles are connected to their ancient ancestors, highlighting adaptations, habitats, and the importance of conservation.
You will also have the opportunity to examine real fossils and fossil replicas, ask questions, and take photos.
This event is supported by the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Summer Community Read is generously funded by Friends of Bexley Public Library.
