Join Green Bexley to talk about some ideas to help you reconcile your holiday season with taking care of the planet. We will talk about gift ideas, gift wrapping and decorations. Some local shops will also showcase their sustainable wares!
You’ll leave this fun information packed session prepared to celebrate the holiday season with a spirit of being green.

Speaker Bios
Rebecca Ness is the Vice Chair for Green Bexley. Rebecca and her family have been working on living sustainability for several years. It’s part of her family’s daily life and they continually make small and large changes over time. Rebecca spearheaded Love Your Alley, a Bexley initiative to transform underutilized alleys into space filled with native plants and artwork for everyone to enjoy. She organizes kids’ green boot camps, and facilitates the Green Bexley Parents' Facebook Group. Rebecca is an Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist and recognizes the strong correlation between the planet’s health and human health. She moved to Bexley from San Francisco mid-2017 with her family.
Jennifer Roy is a recycle artist her small-business is Re-Jen Recycled Arts. She makes accessories & decor out of vintage material, primarily Silk Saris and vintage wool & cashmere sweaters. Jen has been a recycle artist for 15 years. She also owns Urban Emporium, on Main Street. We work with over 100 local artists, a number of whom use repurposed materials.
Dawn Mccombs is the owner of Glean, a local bath and body store that makes small batches of handmade goods out of the most natural, sustainable and pure ingredients that we can find. Our mission is to delight you with our products that are wonderful for your skin and to tread as lightly on the planet as possible while doing so.
Sara Gallaugher inspires others to make less waste and live a more sustainable life. Her business Full Circle Source is one of her outlets to do that. She is also part of the Worthington Partnership Green Team and works with the Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed as the Service Event Coordinator. @fullcirclesource

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
