Join Beverly as she instructs participants in the process of creating their own beautiful piece of artwork utilizing her unique style and artistic process. All art supplies will be provided by the Library.
Beverly Whiteside is our featured Artist for March and April and her art can be viewed throughout the main floor of the Library. Beverly is also one of the 15 Franklin County artists featured in the Bexley Art Library. Beverly Whiteside is a self-taught mixed media artist and dance education specialist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University and a Masters in Education and Curriculum Studies with a focus on Arts Education from Ohio Dominican University. She was awarded the Annie Fund Fellowship and the Dresden, Germany Residency Fellowship through the Greater Columbus Arts Council. She was chosen for a residency in the Ohio Governor’s Artist Spotlight Program in 2016. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally.
Space is limited, masks are required, and registration is required.
Note: This program is geared toward adults. While kids ages 8 and up are welcome to register with their adult at their adult's discretion, due to limited supplies, we cannot provide any painting supplies for kids who are not registered to attend the program.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
