Learn more about the importance of Memorial Day from NVMM educators as they explore stories of Veteran experiences and share hands-on activities with artifacts featured in the Museum collection.
Commemorate Memorial Day and learn more about this federal holiday with educators from the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM). There will be hands-on learning activities for attendees of all ages including the opportunity to touch and try on artifacts from the Museum’s education collection, listen to stories of Veteran experiences featured in the Museum, and write letters of gratitude to those who served our nation that will then be distributed to Veterans during the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at the NVMM. This program is open to patrons of all ages.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
