Community Conversations: Building Community Around Aging is an ongoing series that takes a look at pressing issues going on around central Ohio and how they relate to older adults. From housing and medical costs to gardening and healthy eating, we'll explore new topics in each program with featured speakers in a relaxed social setting. Coffee and light refreshments will be available at each program.
This month's topic: Active Transportations: Walk, Bike, Trails with MORPC
Emma Strange, Mobility Coordinator for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), and TBD will discuss how the new LinkUS mobility initiative expands opportunities to get around central Ohio by walking and biking through expanded and improved trails and dedicated lanes. Join us for this community conversation to learn about how active transportation can improve the quality of life for older adults and how improved walking and biking corridors can help us get around Columbus while staying healthy and benefitting our environment.

The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
