A common misconception about the aging brain is that there is nothing that can be done to prevent memory loss. Often, simple lapses in memory or decline in recall speed are mistaken for dementia. Join Jenny Lobb, OSU Extension Educator, for the third of a four-part series on how to protect and improve your memory. Leave this session knowing how memory works and the impact of medication on the aging brain.

Jenny Lobb is a Family and Consumer Sciences Educator for OSU Extension in Franklin County. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and a Master’s in Public Health, both from The Ohio State University. Jenny is also Registered and Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of Ohio. As an Extension educator, she specializes in food, nutrition and wellness and enjoys teaching about healthy eating, active living, and using mindfulness to cope with stress.

In person space is limited. Registration is requested. Online registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Although registration for the entire series is encouraged, it is not required to attend this session.
