Celebrate GivingTuesday
on this global day of giving!
Tuesday, November 28
All day
How are you celebrating GivingTuesday, this annual global day of giving? Consider a gift of lifelong learning for the hundreds of children, adults, and teens that visit our library every day!
Today, November 28, is GivingTuesday, a day intended to unleash the power of radical generosity around the globe. People from around the world come together to give back and support the causes and organizations they love, and we hope that you'll join us.
Your support will help open the world to hundreds of children, teens, and adults who visit Bexley Public Library each day, discovering amazing stories, vibrant music, and relevant information. Whether it is through a children’s story time, Tea at Three, genealogy research, or an author visit your gift will help us sustain and satisfy the vast curiosity of our community.
And there are many ways to give to your library:
A donation to our annual fund helps the library host meaningful conversations with authors and experts and supports early childhood education.
A named fund gift can support music & entertainment, children's books, seasonal flowers & greenery, and more at BPL.
A membership with the Friends of Bexley Public Library supports the library's annual Summer Community Read and staff appreciation events.
Including Bexley Public Library in your long-range charitable giving plans support the long term financial strength of the library and creates a lasting legacy in our community.
Book donations support the library's mission to enlighten, engage, and inspire our community of lifelong learners.
You can also give back by sharing your library love story on social media. Share why you love your library and encourage others to join you in supporting public libraries this holiday season. Use the hashtag #LibraryLove and tag us @BexleyLibrary on Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you for supporting lifelong learning and those in our community who love and benefit from our resources, collections, and programs!

About the branch
Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
