Kris Tann will lead this series introducing the practice of yogic chanting as a meditation technique followed by gentle vinyasa yoga movements designed to cultivate ease and health in body and mind.
Bexley resident and yoga instructor Kris Tann will lead this 3-part series focusing on traditional yoga practice. Kris’s series will introduce attendees to the practice of yogic chanting as a meditation (and pranayama) technique followed by gentle vinyasa yoga movements designed to cultivate ease and health in body and mind. Attendees will also gain an understanding of the origins of yoga chanting and mantras that come from the Sanskrit language. Please wear loose fitting clothes, and bring a yoga mat.
Registration is required and intended for all three classes.

Instructor Bio
Kris Tann began to investigate yoga to maintain her spinal health way back in April of 2000 when she was 24 years old. A 25 year practitioner of the healing science of yoga, she is a homemaker, wife, mother, new Catholic, yoga educator, cook, certified holistic health coach, lover of world languages and culture, cancer survivor and perennial student. Kris earned yoga teacher certification in 2011 and has led classes in yoga studios, at gyms, schools, corporate offices and private homes. Yoga brings joy!
Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
