Bexley Public Library will close at 6pm on July 3rd and remain closed on July 4th in observance of Independance Day
Join Gestalt Columbus again this March to learn why letting your child struggle is important and how to do so in a mindful way that both gives them life-skills & strengthens your relationship.
Did you know that learning to struggle is a critical life skill? In this interactive workshop you will learn the importance of struggle and risk to help your child build resilience. Learn how you can develop your child’s assertiveness, support them to resolve conflicts independently, and respond supportively and empathetically when they are upset. You will walk away with practical “tools” to allow them to struggle through life’s challenges.
Libby Steele, LPCC and Matt Dunatchik, LPCC are child and family therapists with a passion for helping parents navigate life’s challenges and building deeper connections with their children. Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
