Learn art techniques that combine drawing, painting, & collage, and design your own deck of Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). These workshops are led by local artist Abby Feinknopf. Registration required.
Rescheduled from the spring, tweens and teens are invited to join us for this art wellness series July 2, 9, & 16 of 2023!
Combining drawing, coloring, painting, and collage, we'll discover how to design Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) on card-sized canvases. Artist Abby Feinknopf will lead kids in a variety of different techniques and help participants explore their individual creativity in this wellness workshop. All materials are provided for kids to design unique, individualized cards intended to be traded with friends or given away as an expression of kindness. We'll cover artistic techniques and work on ATC designs in Workshop I (July 2) and Workshop II (July 9). We will put the finishing touches on our cards in workshop III (July 16) and wrap up the last half of the class (3-4 pm) with a display and artist reception open to parents, friends, and family!
Registration is required and is intended to be for all three classes.
The Artist Trading Card (ATC) Workshops are generously funded by a grant from the Bexley Wellness Fund of the Bexley Community Foundation.
